About the project

Directorate General XI Environmental Report
University of Sunderland

Approaching the end of the century, it seems more and more necessary to help citizens to acquire an environmental way of thinking, in order to establish a man-environment relationship compatible with Nature equilibria and limits.
This transformation will involve both the society and the economy of each country; a great responsibility will be given to the Universities, since they will provide means and motivations in order to create a more certain and aware environmental conscience.
At this purpose, Università della Tuscia, the only italian subscriber of the Talloires Declaration, is responsible of giving the guide lines of a new environmental policy, both inside and outside the University itself.
