RICERCA
The molecular biology, combined with cytology, characterize most of the scientific papers of prof. M. Frediani, largely based on the genome analysis, as far as structural and functional aspects are concerned.
At present , the research activity of prof. M. Frediani concerns:
1) study of the phylogenetic relationships among species belonging to Vicia genus, by means of molecular and karyological parameters.
2) characterization of the genome of species with low chromosome number.
3) characterization of local vines by means of microsatellite analysis.
