RICERCA
He is the director of the Plant Physiology and Biotechnology Laboratory at DABAC. At present his research focuses on molecular aspect of plant-microbe interaction and the application of biotechnology to wheat improvement. In particular, he coordinates research projects focus on the role of plant protein inhibitors of fungal glycosidases, including polygalacturonase inhibiting proteins (PGIP), pectin methyl esterase inhibitors (PMEI) and xylanase inhibitors (XI).
