Gian Luigi Mazzi is a senior consultant in statistics and econometrics, former technical director of Gopa Luxembourg and senior statistician/team-leader at the European Commission (Eurostat).

He has a long standing experience in: official statistics, business cycle analysis, seasonal adjustment, now/forecasting, econometric modelling, measuring and communicating uncertainty.

He is author of more than 100 papers and working papers as well as editor/author of several conference books, handbooks and guidelines.
