Giuseppe Arbia (PhD Cantab) is full professor of Economic Statistics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. His research is devoted to Spatial Statistics and Spatial Econometrics. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the "Journal of Spatial Econometrics", Springer-Verlag and director of the book series "Spatial Econometrics and Spatial Statistics", Elsevier. He is also the founder and Chairman of the Spatial Econometrics Association since 2006 and Director of the Spatial Econometrics Advanced Institute.
