Erasmus Charter for Higher Education

The European Commission in 2014 has awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education to the University of Tuscia. The Charter will allow the participation of the University of Tuscia to compete for the available funds in the framework of the new Programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport "Erasmus +" in the period 2014 – 2020.

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education  provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution (HEI) may carry out within the Programme Erasmus + and it is the necessary requirement for the participation in the Programme.

Through the Charter the University of Tuscia is committed to the respect of qualitative requirements for the Erasmus EU and international mobility. Those requirements concern both the respect of fundamental principles of credit recognition and non-discrimination of students interested in international activities, and the provision of quality services in support to student and academic staff mobility.

The Charter 2014 – 2020, for the first time, includes the Erasmus Policy Statement, which is the description of the Institutional strategy for internationalization and its link with the Modernisation Agenda for Higher Education developed by the European Commission in 2011.

By signing the Charter, the University of Tuscia has committed itself to publish the Erasmus Policy Statement of the University website for the whole Programme period.
