Language requirements for extra-EU students

Extra-EU students with residency abroad who wish to enroll in a degree programme taught in the Italian language at UNITUS, must have an adequate level of knowledge of Italian language for starting their university studies.

You can meet the Italian language requirement:

  • by passing an Italian language test organized by the University of Tuscia;
  • by submitting a valid certificate of knowledge of the Italian language: B2 level in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or a high-school qualification obtained in Italian language.

Courses Calendar:

 

1st Round,

From May 5th to June 30th- 60 hours duration-(recommended for students who want to sit the Italian language exam scheduled on July 5th 2021)

 

2nd Round:

From July 6th to September 5th, 60 hours duration (recommended for students who want to sit the Italian language exam scheduled on September 9th 2021)

The calendar for Italian Language exams for the enrollment of extra-EU students in the 2021-2022 academic year at UNITUS is here reported:

  • 5th of July 2021, 2-6 p.m.
  • 9th of September 2021, 2-6 p.m.
  • 7th of October 2021, 2-6 p.m.

Italian language skills assessment is aimed at:

  • verifying the possession of adequate language abilities and knowledge of the main grammatical structures of the Italian language, required to properly study and explore topics and issues related to the university experience;
  • ascertaining the applicant’s ability to effectively and correctly communicate in an academic context.
