The routes listed below will help you reach UNITUS Administrative Offices and the Student Secretariat in Via Santa Maria in Gradi n.4 in Viterbo. The other campuses can be reached by bus from here.You can reach Viterbo by car, train and bus.
BY TRAIN
Several hourly trains from Rome allow to reach one of the two train stations in town: Porta Fiorentina and Porta Romana. The journey to reach Viterbo from Rome with a regional train takes about from 1:10h to 2:20h cdepending on the train route.
Porta Romana is the closest train station to Santa Maria in Gradi; anyway, the two train stations in town are not that far away from each other so you can just select the one closest to your hotel.
By train from Rome Fiumicino airport: you can take Leonardo Express train (every 15 minutes, ~14€ one way) from Fiumicino airport to Roma Termini.
Otherwise, you can take the regional train from Fiumicino airport to Roma Trastevere (it takes 26 minutes, ~8€ one way).
- train from Roma Termini to Viterbo:
- Regional train to Orte (40 minutes, ~5€ one way) and shuttle bus from Orte to Viterbo (30 minutes, ~4€). The bus leaves from the square in front of the station and the ticket has to be paid directly on board. You can find useful information of the bus at the following link: Shuttle bus website
- Regional trains to Porta Fiorentina or Porta Romana (about 2h with 1 or 2 changes). Trenitalia website
- train from Roma Trastevere to Viterbo:
Direct hourly train to Porta Romana takes about 1:40 h and costs ~5,60 € one way. Trenitalia website
BY BUS
From Rome-Saxa Rubra station: take the COTRAL bus to Viterbo (every 30 minutes), get off at Porta Romana, Viterbo.
From Orte Scalo station: take the COTRAL Bus to Viterbo and get off at Riello. Take bus A to Barco and get off at the University.

BY CAR
From highway A1 exit at Orte. Continue on the Orte-Viterbo dual carriageway. Exit at Viterbo Nord. Go straight on towards the centre following the medieval city walls to Porta Romana and turn left into Via S. Maria in Gradi.
Parking is available at the University in Via Sabotino.
