UNITUS in numbers

In December 2019, the University of Tuscia registered the largest number of teaching staff (Professors and Researchers) dedicated to research and training ever reached since its foundation. From the data provided by the University Personnel Office, 320 highly qualified personnel are identified, divided as follows: 76 Full Professors, 133 Associate Professors, 111 Researchers (31 type A and 36 type B) with a total growth of +4,2% compared to 2018 and + 7,4% compared to 2015.

 
Most recent and prestigious achievements are the inclusion of Tuscia University in the Top 1000 of World University 2020 of the ARWU Shanghai Academic Ranking (ARWU2020) and between the first 600 universities of Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking 2021.  UNITUS also gained four excellent rating "A" for its research activity and regional engagement in U-Multirank 2020.

In late 2019, Unitus entered for the first time the ranking of UI GreenMetric World University Ranking ranking 292nd in the world ranking of the most sustainable universities (out of 780 universities) and 12th in Italy (29 participating universities).

Lastly, for the academic year 2020/2021 Tuscia University is the 1st University in Italy for enrolment growth with an increase of 56,3% respect to the datum of previous academic year (source: Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research).
